I seem to hear that a lot of people have trouble adding video to their wordpress blog, so below i have outlines a very simple way you can add ANY video file to your posts or pages of wordpress.

Firstly, download the video player (courtesy of jw player) here

Unzip the folder to your desktop, and then upload it into your main root directory of your website(public_html or root).

Obviously you need to upload a video file aswell, i would recommend you make your videos in mp4 format, it’s a lot better quality video file.

Once you’ve uploaded the video file to your website, aswell as the player folder above, We then need to create a post or page.

Simply copy/paste this code into your editor of wordpress when writing the post/page, in html view:

Now, simply change the yourwebsite.com to your own values, and use this code every time you want to place a video inside your post or page. You can also edit the width and height of the video too!
